Vinyl stickers are a fun and easy way to show off your brand, personalize your gear, or decorate just about anything. Whether they’re on a car window, laptop, water bottle, or storefront, proper care can make your stickers look vibrant and new for years instead of months.
Before applying your decal, make sure the surface is smooth, dry, and free of dust or oils. A quick wipe with rubbing alcohol helps the adhesive bond properly and prevents the decal from peeling later on.
Take your time during application—avoid stretching the sticker and press from the center outward to remove air bubbles. For large decals, using a squeegee or credit card helps achieve a smooth finish.
To keep your stickers looking fresh, gently wipe them with a soft cloth and mild soap when they get dirty. Avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive scrubbing, which can damage the print, laminate or edges of the decal.
If your stickers are outdoors, UV rays and moisture can cause fading over time. Keeping your decal in the shade or using a clear protective laminate can extend their life and keep colors bright. Heat from direct sunlight or constant rubbing—like from bags or clothing—can weaken the adhesive. Try to place stickers on surfaces that stay relatively cool and still.
